Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Achieves 2 Million Sales in Under Two Weeks

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has reached a significant milestone, selling 2 million copies in less than two weeks since its release. The game, developed by Warhorse Studios, launched on February 4 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.

Confirmation of the sales figure came through a tweet from Warhorse Studios, marking this achievement as a notable success for the medieval action role-playing game. The title had previously sold 1 million copies just a day after its launch.

In addition to strong sales, the game has performed well on Steam, recording a peak of over 250,000 concurrent players. For comparison, the first installment of the series reached a peak of 96,069 players seven years ago.

Embracer Group, the parent company of Warhorse Studios, expressed confidence in the game’s ongoing success. They highlighted the dedication of the development team and the positive reception from both players and critics.

The post-launch roadmap for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 includes several expansions planned for 2025. Upcoming free updates will introduce features like a Barbers option for character customization, Hardcore Mode, and Horse Racing.

Paid content is also on the horizon, with the first expansion, Brushes with Death, set to release in summer 2025. This expansion follows protagonist Henry as he assists a mysterious artist. Additional expansions will explore Henry’s background and include a covert mission at the Sedlec Monastery.
