Nintendo’s interactive alarm clock, Alarmo, is now available for purchase at major retailers, priced at $100. Initially exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, the product launched in October 2024 at the Nintendo Store. Its wider release comes earlier than expected, with Best Buy being one of the first retailers to stock it.
The Alarmo features a vibrant design, showcasing a dynamic front display and built-in speaker. Users can select from various Nintendo characters and games to wake them up, including popular titles like Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Since its initial launch, Nintendo has added more games through free updates, expanding the selection to include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Alarmo offers over 40 different scenes that play alongside corresponding game tracks, with an option for volume to gradually increase. The device includes a motion sensor, allowing users to snooze alarms with gestures or button presses. Additionally, it can track sleep patterns and provide reminders throughout the day.
Powered by a USB-C cable, Alarmo retains settings with a coin battery, ensuring functionality even during power outages. Future updates will continue to enhance the device’s capabilities, requiring a Wi-Fi connection for downloads.
Currently, Alarmo is exclusively available at Best Buy and the Nintendo Store, but it’s expected to appear at other major retailers like Walmart, Target, and GameStop soon. For more details, visit the original article here.
