Michael Rosenbaum left the popular series Smallville after its seventh season, despite the show’s enduring success. The series, which starred Tom Welling as Clark Kent, ran for ten seasons and over 200 episodes, transitioning from The WB to The CW.

Rosenbaum portrayed the iconic role of Lex Luthor. His exit raised questions among fans, especially since he was approached by network executives to continue for additional seasons. However, he had different aspirations, particularly in the realm of comedy.
