California Fire Relief Bundle Offers Over 400 Games for Charity

Necrosoft Games has launched a significant gaming bundle to aid wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. The California Fire Relief Bundle features more than 400 games, including popular titles like Tunic, Octodad, and Hidden Folks, available for a minimum donation of $10.

The initiative aims to raise $100,000 for the Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE), which provides support to shelters, financial assistance to survivors, and essential resources for affected communities. All proceeds, minus processing fees, will go directly to CORE.

As of now, over 4,400 individuals have purchased the bundle, generating more than $57,000 in donations. The bundle will remain available for another 13 days and offers approximately $3,000 in savings compared to purchasing the games individually.

This effort is part of a broader response from the gaming industry to support those impacted by the California wildfires, which have affected over 80,000 people and resulted in more than 20 fatalities. Notably, Activision raised over $2.6 million through Call of Duty DLC and company donations, while Sony contributed $5 million to Los Angeles relief efforts.

The California wildfires began in early January and have been the largest urban disaster in the state in at least four decades. For more information or to purchase the bundle, visit Itch.io.
