Lenovo Unveils High-Performance ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 Laptop

Lenovo has introduced the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6, a laptop that aims to compete with its gaming counterpart, the Legion Pro 7i. This new model boasts impressive specifications, including a thermal design power (TDP) of 180W, which can be boosted to 200W using its Geek Mode.

Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 is designed for high-performance tasks, catering to power users and creative professionals. It features a discrete Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that enhances productivity through Lenovo’s AI Now personal assistant, allowing the Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU to focus on complex tasks like 3D rendering and modeling.

The laptop’s advanced cooling system ensures optimal performance during demanding workloads. It sports a 16-inch 3.2K display with X-Rite color calibration and low blue light support, along with multiple connectivity options, including USB-C and HDMI ports, and Wi-Fi 7.

Additional features include support for modular accessories, referred to as Magic Bay, which enhance the user experience with options for multiple screens and AI companions. Despite its robust capabilities, the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 is currently not available in North America, with further pricing and availability details yet to be announced.

In addition to the ThinkBook, Lenovo has also updated its ThinkPad lineup for 2025, introducing models like the ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 4, which will be available in May. These models will feature the latest Intel Core Ultra processors and will be priced starting at $1,359 and $1,623, respectively.

For those looking for budget-friendly options, the ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 and E16 Gen 3 will be available in Q2 2025, priced at $849 and $859.
