Lenovo introduced several updates to its ThinkPad lineup at Mobile World Congress 2025, focusing on new form factors and upgraded internals. The highlight is the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1, the first convertible model in the T-series, designed to compete with Lenovo’s Yoga laptops.
The T14s 2-in-1 features a 14-inch, 400-nit WUXGA touch display and supports the magnetic Yoga Pen stylus. It can be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 H or U 200 series chip, up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of storage.
For users preferring a traditional laptop design, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 offer Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI Pro chips, with configurations allowing up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
The ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 is noted as one of the lightest designs, weighing only 2.05 lbs. It includes options for Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI Pro chips, up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and battery options of 41Wh or 54.7Wh. This model also supports Wi-Fi 7 and an optional 5G connection.
Other updates include the ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 and E16 Gen 3, which now support up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 U or H 200 series chip and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM. The ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 is limited to 32GB of RAM.
Availability for the new ThinkPads is set for this summer, with the T14s 2-in-1, T14s Gen 6, and X13 Gen 6 launching in June 2025 at prices of $1,719, $1,674, and $1,139, respectively. The T14 Gen 6 and T16 Gen 4 will be available in May for $1,359 and $1,623. The E14 Gen 7 and E16 Gen 3 are expected in Q2 2025, priced at $849 and $859.
