Nvidia Delays GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition Launch to March

Nvidia has announced that the launch of its GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition graphics cards will be delayed until later this month. Initially expected to release alongside other models, the Founders Edition will now become available after March 5th.

Consumers eager to purchase the RTX 5070 can opt for third-party versions from manufacturers like Asus and MSI, which will be released on March 5th. Nvidia had previously postponed the RTX 5070 series from its original launch date of February 28th.

The company specified that several manufacturers will offer the RTX 5070 at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, including:

  • Asus
  • Colorful
  • Gainward
  • GALAX
  • Gigabyte
  • INNO3D
  • KFA2
  • MSI
  • Palit
  • PNY
  • Zotac

Despite Nvidia’s claims that the RTX 5070 would deliver performance comparable to the higher-end RTX 4090, early reviews suggest otherwise. The delay and mixed feedback contribute to a challenging launch period for Nvidia’s 50-series graphics cards, which have also faced reports of manufacturing issues.
