Grasshopper Manufacture Requests Fans to Refrain from Studio Visits

Grasshopper Manufacture, the Japanese game developer known for titles like No More Heroes and Killer7, has issued a public request for fans to stop visiting its Tokyo studio without prior notice. The company expressed concern over the increasing number of unannounced visits, which have become disruptive to their operations.

On February 6, a representative from Grasshopper posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the issue, highlighting that while they appreciate the enthusiasm of their fans, accommodating sudden visitors is not feasible during work hours. This situation has prompted the studio to cancel an upcoming episode of their behind-the-scenes video series, The Dev Room, due to fears that it might encourage more fans to drop by unexpectedly.

Grasshopper Manufacture recently released Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered on October 31 and is currently engaged in developing a new game. The studio aims to maintain its creative environment while managing fan interactions appropriately.
