Avowed players can collect the Totem of Defiance by locating seven specific pieces scattered throughout the Emerald Stair region. This guide details the locations of each piece, allowing players to assemble the totem for various passive bonuses.

Location Details
Totem Base
Find the Totem Base in the Shrine to Skaen, located in the western part of Emerald Stair. Start at the Rock Arch Beacon fast travel point and head north towards Delemgan Glade. The base is on an altar at the top of the ruins.
Obsidian Prayer Beads
The Obsidian Prayer Beads are located at the end of The Delemgan Cache in the westernmost part of Emerald Stair. Reach the circular arena area, climb the tree trunk, and follow the path to the ledge where the beads are found.
Idol of Violent Rebellion
This piece is on top of the Ranger Headquarters in the eastern part of Emerald Stair. Access it by climbing the tower from the south side using crates to reach the first ladder.
Effigy Necklace
Located inside Naku Tedek in the southwest corner of Emerald Stair, players need to navigate down the stairs and use an electric grenade to open a door. The necklace is on a ledge above after freezing the water in the room.
Idol of Secret Hatred
Find this idol inside the Ancient Grotto, also in the southwest part of Emerald Stair. After navigating through large ruins, jump across platforms to reach a small cave where the idol is located.
Idol of Covert Plots
The Idol of Covert Plots is in the Grim Wetlands northwest of Emerald Stair. Access the small locked building west of the Party Camp by entering through a hole in the roof.
Sacrificial Dagger
Located at the Abandoned Farms region, the Sacrificial Dagger is found stuck to the backdoor of a building. Players must look for a note attached to the dagger.
