Lenovo is unveiling several updates to its ThinkPad lineup at Mobile World Congress 2025, focusing on new form factors and improved specifications for business laptops.
New ThinkPad Models
The standout announcement is the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1, the first convertible model in the T-series. This device features a 14-inch, 400-nit WUXGA touch display and supports the magnetic Yoga Pen stylus. It can be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 H or U 200 series chip, 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of storage.
For users preferring a traditional design, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 will offer Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI Pro chips, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of storage.
Lightweight Design
The ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 boasts a weight of only 2.05 lbs, making it one of the lightest designs in the ThinkPad range. It also includes options for Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI Pro chips, up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and battery choices of 41Wh or 54.7Wh. Additionally, this model supports Wi-Fi 7 and an optional 5G connection.
Chip Updates for Other Models
Further updates include the ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 and E16 Gen 3, which will support up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 U or H 200 series chip and 64GB of DDR5 RAM. The ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 will have a maximum of 32GB of RAM.
Availability and Pricing
Most new ThinkPad models will be available this summer. The ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1, T14s Gen 6, and X13 Gen 6 are set to release in June 2025, priced at $1,719, $1,674, and $1,139, respectively. The T14 Gen 6 and T16 Gen 4 will launch in May for $1,359 and $1,623. The E14 Gen 7 and E16 Gen 3 are expected in Q2 2025, priced at $849 and $859.
