Lenovo Unveils AI-Enhanced Laptops at MWC 2025

Lenovo has unveiled its latest laptops featuring generative AI capabilities at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. The lineup includes the Yoga Pro 9i Aura edition and the IdeaPad Slim 3x, both set to launch in North America.

Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition

The Yoga Pro 9i Aura edition is designed in collaboration with Intel, incorporating a unique blend of software, hardware, and AI features aimed at enhancing user experience. This model is powered by the Intel Core Ultra processor and features the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, marking it as the most affordable option in the RTX 50 series.

It boasts a 16-inch 3.2K PureSight Pro display, which utilizes a double layer of OLED pixels to achieve a peak brightness of 1600 nits while improving power efficiency. The display supports 100 percent sRGB, P3, and Adobe RGB color gamuts, ensuring accurate color representation.

The Yoga Pro 9i Aura edition includes the Lenovo Creator Zone, an AI suite designed to facilitate the use of third-party applications for video, photo, and music creation. Pricing for this model starts at $1,799, with availability expected in the second quarter of 2025.

IdeaPad Slim 3x

Alongside the Yoga Pro 9i, Lenovo introduced the 15-inch IdeaPad Slim 3x, a Copilot+ PC powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X chip. This new platform aims to make AI capabilities more accessible.

The IdeaPad Slim 3x can handle AI tasks on-device and includes a dedicated key for Microsoft’s Copilot assistant. An additional feature is its open SSD slot, allowing users to expand storage capacity easily. The starting price for the IdeaPad Slim 3x is set at $649, with availability commencing this month.
