The pre-registration period for Mecharashi, a tactical RPG developed by BlackJack Studio, has officially commenced. Players can now sign up on PC, iOS, and Android platforms for this free-to-play game.
In Mecharashi, players lead customizable mech squads in strategic combat. Each mech consists of four distinct parts: body, legs, right arm, and left arm. Each part has its own health points (HP), and different strategies can be employed by targeting specific parts.
The game draws inspiration from the classic title Front Mission, emphasizing a tactical approach that moves beyond traditional rock-paper-scissors mechanics. Players must evaluate threats and devise strategies to neutralize enemies effectively.
Combat is turn-based and involves various missions set on Milkhama Island, a conflict zone arising from the discovery of a new mineral called Arashium. Players will engage in battles against a rebel group known as The Ashes, navigating through a storyline filled with corruption and political intrigue.
Each pilot in the game belongs to a specific class, such as Fighters, Raiders, Snipers, Tacticians, Guardians, and Machinists, each contributing unique abilities to the team. Players can customize mechs extensively, modifying parts, weapons, and color schemes to suit their style.
As players progress, they will unlock a skill tree system called the Bionic Computer, enhancing their pilots‘ abilities and combat effectiveness. The game will support eight languages upon its international release later this year.
Interested players can sign up for pre-registration on the official website. Read more here.
