PSVR 2 Price Reduced to $400 Across All Models

Sony has officially announced a permanent price drop for the PSVR 2 headset, reducing its base price to $400 starting in March 2025. This change affects both the standard model, which previously retailed for $550, and the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle, which was priced at $600.

The price adjustment will roll out at different times across various retailers. Some, like Amazon and Target, have already updated their listings to reflect the new pricing. Others may still be selling the PSVR 2 at its original launch price, so consumers are advised to check frequently.

The PSVR 2 package includes the headset, PS VR2 Sense controllers, and stereo headphones, providing everything necessary for use with the PS5. The Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle offers the same items along with a download code for the game.

Additionally, the PSVR 2 PC Adapter, which is essential for using the headset with a PC, remains priced at $60 and is not included in the price drop. Users will also need to download the PSVR PC app from Steam, available for free.

This price reduction makes the PSVR 2 more accessible, allowing users to explore a wide range of VR-compatible games. Popular titles include Beat Saber, Alien: Rogue Incursion, and various PS5 games with dedicated VR modes like Gran Turismo 7 and Resident Evil 4.
