Survival Game Prologue: Go Back Challenges Players with Extreme Weather

Brendan Greene, known for creating PUBG: Battlegrounds, is set to launch his new game, Prologue: Go Back, later this year. This survival game presents players with a formidable enemy: the harsh and dangerously cold weather.

The game features 64-square-km maps that are procedurally generated, offering millions of possible combinations. Players must navigate through these environments to reach a randomly located weather station, the ultimate goal of each match.

To survive, players need to scavenge for supplies, manage hunger and thirst, and find shelter from the elements. The cold serves as the primary adversary, capable of leading to fatal consequences. Slipping on icy terrain or being caught in a blizzard can quickly end a player’s journey.

Prologue: Go Back also equips players with tools to anticipate temperature drops and identify when shelter is necessary. Players can repair items and temporarily seek refuge in cabins, but they must keep moving since extraction is only possible at the weather station.

Early access for Prologue: Go Back is scheduled to begin this summer on Steam. This title is part of a broader plan by PlayerUnknown Productions, which includes another upcoming game, Project Artemis.
