Singapore’s rating board has officially rated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, hinting at a possible release in 2025. This rating adds credibility to ongoing rumors about a remake of the next two mainline titles in the popular skateboarding series.
The collection is expected to be available on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
No official confirmation has been made regarding the collection. However, a countdown timer recently discovered in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to reveal more information on March 4, 2025.
Previously, Tony Hawk hinted at discussions with Activision about new projects, suggesting that something significant is in the works for fans of the franchise. The success of the 2020 remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 has heightened expectations for this potential release.
Despite the excitement, the development of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 faced challenges when Vicarious Visions, the studio behind the earlier remakes, was absorbed into Blizzard in 2021. This led Activision to seek other developers, although trust in their capabilities has been a concern.
As anticipation builds, the gaming community awaits further announcements regarding the remake. The Singaporean ratings board lists Activision as both the publisher and developer, setting the stage for potential new developments.
