Magic: The Gathering is set to expand its universe with the introduction of a new set inspired by the iconic Final Fantasy franchise. This collection, titled Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy, will feature the largest assortment of Final Fantasy artwork ever compiled into a single game.
Scheduled for release on June 13, the set aims to appeal to both long-time fans of the franchise and newcomers alike. It will include characters from across the Final Fantasy series, ensuring a broad range of recognizable figures for players.
New Mechanics Introduced
This expansion will also introduce several new gameplay mechanics. Notably, Saga Creatures will make their debut, allowing players to utilize multi-phase cards that evolve and gain abilities over time. Additionally, double-faced cards will return, showcasing characters, minigames, and story moments.
Collectible Cards
